Is anyone else concerned that apart from the Trump stuff, that targeting Biden on Ukraine will boost his approval among the party. The more Trump leans into it being about investigating him the more attention he will grab and the media will run with it and when we finally get Trump nailed we end up with loving Joe Biden. This thread has moved something like 40 pages today so sorry if I missed if anyone else shared my concerns and it's too early to count the eggs.

"Left" and "Right were a bit more murky; lot's had to do with what reps could bring back to their constituencies. Representatives and Senators still had to go back to their voters and argue their positions about impeachment to an unsure electorate, at least at first. Then more information came out and it went bad for Nixon and the polls tanked on both "sides". Short answer: dipsits and heroes, left and right.
