d&d was at its best when left and right could fight like cats and dogs around 2008ish, for it is in conflict that both ideologies find their greatest clarity. it was at its worst when evilweasel, BM and vilerat (though his tenure in the Bad Times was cut short for reasons i was never entirely clear on) softly prohibited criticism of democrats from the left, and remained so until late november of 2016, for reasons, again: i was never entirely clear on. right now i'd say d&d is about middling, which is about as good as anyone could ask for. this concludes the reply-less OP of a thread that'd get closed in QCS in like two seconds anyway, on account of what happens to all d&d related threads in QCS.
