GOG Galaxy 2.0 does this as well but it's still in beta. At launch it's supposed to open 3rd party launchers, start the game, and close the third party launcher once you exit the game.

I was playing MK 9 or 10.. whatever one was new in 2011. I was playing against a friend of mine and I was Skorpion. I always played as him and his fatalities were reflex at that point. I’d do a fatality while I’m on my way to the kitchen or whatever. So I did the fatality where skorpion wraps his spear chain around your neck and hangs you through a portal. The friend I was playing against was black and thought I was being intentionally racist. I bought him dinner because I didn’t know how to apologize (I also verbally apologized), it was a weird situation. Thanks that’s my story of me being inadvertently racist. Video games cause violence and racism.

So I went and bought a 34in G sync ultrawide monitor to go with the RTX 2080 super I bought last week. Previously I have never played with a monitor over 60hz. Holy poo poo is the difference loving insane. Everything is buttery smooth and FPS games are incredibly immersive. I'll probably never go back to anything but an ultrawide monitor after this.
