Maybe because people use it all the time to post articles with misleading headlines, not saying this is the case on this one but its very consistently an issue. Basically it feels like there is a Dems bad brigade that just happens to constantly push right wing conspiracies and talking points about the the left instead of going after real things that actually happened.

"Pig in a poke" refers to buying something without due diligence, like the "pig" in said bag. (A pocket is the diminutive form of poke.) Only surprise, you open the bag and instead of a future Texas-ravaging bacon monster, it's a worthless kitten or something. Should have opened the bag before buying that pig in that poke.

If Hillary Clinton goes on TV and says something dumb, as appears to have happened, that seems to me to be fit enough subject matter for the thread. I'd ask people to try to find non-garbage sources for news first, but I don't see anyone other than the Examiner (including ABC itself) talking about that part of the program.
