funnily enough last night i was reading about 9/11 and all the warnings the CIA had from other intelligence agencies. iirc at one point around july 2001 MI6 or the mossad were outright saying look dipshits, we have a list of crazies who are in florida right now, and our snitches in bin ladens circle have told us that they are planning to hijack passenger planes and use them as suicide missiles. and the indifference of the CIA left them all completely baffled. but the 9/11 commission report kind of downplays this by saying oh, the cia just had a failure of imagination. they blatantly let that poo poo happen. how does the maxwell pic at the end there tie in, my brain isn't fully firing yet i'm just coming off working nights.
