Heather Papps posted:the thing el dorito posted:batman (90s ver) these are all excellent films and i love them i am very very very fond of the abyss and it is maybe the greatest film ever made because of extremely lol reasons i like a lot of classic films and have a pretty extensive collection of weird old films that fall into the not obscure enough to have a small cult following but obscure enough that nobody gives a gently caress about them category and draw from those a lot when i'm making references or when i'm writing jokes for stuff. i like a lot of weird horror too and like to pick apart stuff like hereditary which i will never watch again probably because not only was it scary as gently caress for me for reasons, but also the layers of referential scenery and dialogue and things were overwhelming and dense and i think one time is forever actually enough for me.

I have arrived in Fukuoka. I saw a vocalid on a large screen encouraging me to drink saké. Too early for that though. I snapped a pic but the upload isn't working. |
