SLOSifl posted:It’s usually unprofitable whitefish mixed with crab essence. The essence of the crab is what makes a crab an individual in a vast community of superficially similar crabs. It’s all their beliefs and resignations, their unique dreams and ideals, plus nonspecific whitefish (usually pollock). Good fake crab is a matter of agreeable personality and assholes and shits-for-brain crab are significantly more abundant in general. but why does it have more carbs than protein?

The only thing bad about those is the name, it should clearly be a testicle joke like... crusty kraut clickers or something actually funny.

I like fake crab too. I've been known to just eat it straight out of the package. I've definitely seen it as an option to put in your bowl of raw food for Mongolian grills, which feels wrong IMHO

Helios Grime posted:Yeah? Ostrich is pretty tasty. For me it was what looked like the tips of the feathers still in the skin, like it hadn't been de-feathered properly. I mean whatever, its a giant bird, you'll have to do a lower heat, longer cook and it probably REALLY needs to be basted but man it looked like little shards of feather quill were sticking out all over the best part of a bird; the skin. Also the way those guys were acting/the way that video was shot was giving me MTV sports(Dan Cortese?) mid-90's flashbacks, I'm pretty sure people have been cooking ostrich whole since they were discovered. A few dozen pages ago somebody posted that Turkish guy with the permanent beauty pageant girl smile cooking an ostrich and serving it on a giant plate of rice and it seemed way more appetizing. Here it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRaUYD7ggFQ
