So far one minor complaint about 2d mode: getting mounts is lot less consistent, but not enough to be a problem.

Have they changed any of the builds/skills on the switch version? For example I remember the hero always being strongest with 2H sword, and Jade strongest with spears.

Ah ok. But from I've been reading some of the encounters have been modified. Not sure if I want to pick up the switch version, already 100% the game for the most part on PC with stronger monsters.

Yeah! I turned mine off.  I realized I was just getting hurt and having to heal more, which made the going tedious, so I went back to normal monsters. Not sure about the other ones - lower xp for weak monsters is probably alright but I trust myself not to overlevel.

kinda dirty of them to hide the metal slimes but i can understand why. I guess I'm gonna have to look at spawn lists in certain zones if I want to level up a bit. I also see no reason to never have a party member NOT wearing the 2x gold vest.

Its basically never worth using them. They cap out at like +150 extra gold and 75 extra exp which is trivial even in the beginning of the game

I dunno why, Id normally really like him. I think its that the hero cant respond so a lot of his more fun stuff doesnt have much to bounce off? Like when hes with Dave (I enjoy the pronunciation a ton) hes quite good. These extra interstitial chapters could have been dropped methinks.

Slime Quest can be set to autoplay, no turbo required. Despite its look you have very little control over the outcome.

Next to the jackpot tower there's a bunnygirl who says when she feels like the roulette wheel is going to hit. If she says its soon just put the minimum bet on 12, 14 and Treasure and run it for a little while. You'll hit a jackpot and million+ tokens pretty quickly. If she doesn't add that it'll hit soon when you talk to her, keep taking naps at the inn until she does. It took me a total of about 45 minutes to do yesterday. Yeah roulette is at the second casino.

I just wrapped up act 1 with all sidequests done for that point as far as I could tell in about 25 hours, no casino, so theres a lot of meat on these here bones

Apperently, even with XP Limiter on, I’ve still ended up way over leveled somehow. I’m at the Royal Libary and everyone is about 31-32. Funny thing is I didn’t even grind anywhere, I did however kill 3 Liquid Metal Slimes on the way to Dora so maybe that did it.
