You're thinking of FRLG. Your first Daycare is the one from Gen 1 so it can't take more than one Pokémon, you get a proper Daycare much later, in the Sevii Islands.

I like to go with a theme for my first time through a game. Otherwise I'll just name them the first thing that comes to mind. For my first gen 8 run I'm naming them all after JoJo's Characters.

I usually just give mine names with origins from the region they are from. For Galar it’s gonna be like Aldrich, Cromwell, Ida etc.

Cool its a Shield exclusive and I was planning on getting that game anyway. I am a bit disappointed that its a pure Fairy type and not something like Fire/Fairy. Maybe Galarian Rapidash will fix that.
