When do the chargers start placing their medical paperwork people on IR? All that writing has to do horrors to the wrist

The pulmonary embolism one is just like, if I were to make a joke about why someone on the Chargers was hurt I might go with that since it's a real term I've vaguely heard. Past that I'd be down to 'oh that Chargers LB? He's out with with toeitis,' or something. Coincidentally I'm pretty sure Eddie George lost a good chunk of his career to toeitis.

They're not going to see the Dolphins, they're going to see whichever team is going to paste the Dolphins that week. Meanwhile...I'm not sure who lives in Cincinnati exactly. I know absolutely nothing about it.

Vengarr posted:Plays, not days. Yeah I read that wrong too at first. Still if he averages 30 snaps a game that's just over 6 games of being a good boy? I don't know how many snaps he gets per game, I feel like 30 is a decent guess coming out on third downs or whatever but it might be lower. Or higher which would be funnier.

Burficit had 298 snaps last year. Then this year his snaps went up dramatically. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BurfVo00.htm He's had 191 just this year. E: Basically they're saying it's the first time he tried to kill somebody this season.

They probably spent hours looking at various ways to present how long it had been and that "190 plays" loving won.

This Burfict ordeal really smells of a Kangaroo Court, an expression coined in the wake of an Australian man being falsely convicted of of a crime in turn of the century San Francisco. They're only looking at the minority of plays in which Vontaze potentially ruined a man's life by giving them severe head trauma. What about the vast majority of snaps Burfict didn't concuss a man into oblivion? What about those plays where he didn't even register a tackle? And don't get me started on the fact that he wasn't even on the field for well over 90% of all NFL plays this year.

You do have to admit that picture from college where he's pointing at the quarterback is an all time great football picture. I'm not sure how many dangerous hits that forgives but I'm sure it's a few.
