Like 50-100 people is a big one as far as those go and Turkey knows exactly, as in to within a millimeter, where they are. IDK there's a lot more to say on that but hanging them out to dry is going to have some ridiculous implications throughout the entire military. The US knew where that MSF hospital was in Afghanistan, they still accidentally bombed it. War can be complicated, especially for a military that's still dealing with a purged officer class. I think it's premature to think Erdogan or the Turkish top brass ordered it. edit: I'm not endorsing the hospital bombing in any way. Bombing SOF however..... The bombing of Kunduz was lied about three or four times before we declared it was an error due to lack of strategic guidance, but if you look at any of the history of the US and our love of excess when it comes to loving people we don't like, it's really hard to take that on faith. The US army doesn't deserve it. To be on topic, of course, the Turkish forces don't either.

IMO the graham tape also wasn't particularly newsworthy in a front page headline kind of way. It was interesting, definitely revealing, and should raise an absolute fuckton of redflags about just what percentage of calls our senators are receiving are actually from Russian intelligence. That said, Graham's beliefs changing wrt Kurds probably has to do with every single vaguely knowledgeable or credible person he has talked to yelling at him 'you have to loving do something these guys are our closest loving allies in the region and your idiot dumbfuck boss is going to start a regional war don't abandon the loving kurds you idiot' Ego-bot posted:The US knew where that MSF hospital was in Afghanistan, they still accidentally bombed it. I’m not sure how much more the GOP is going to change their position on Trump after these hearings. We already know he did the crime. They’re already saying it’s not impeachable. I’m not sure that more evidence to this crime is going to sway them or his base. Really my only hope that anything changes is that Trump keeps making more and more idiotic decisions a la Syria that no one can really stand behind him.

Really my only hope that anything changes is that Trump keeps making more and more idiotic decisions a la Syria that no one can really stand behind him. I mean basically this is twofold. One is that the MORE crime, the harder it is for the GOP to defend it or block it. And the other is that the more crime, the more likely it is to influence voters. This doesn't necessarily mean changing their votes but it can depress turnout or convince people to protest vote which, considering Trump's razor-thin win last time, is not good for the GOP.
