And with this the pact is sealed. They are now man, and man's best friend. May they never be separated.

Yeah, it's one of those twists that works because it makes perfect sense once somebody thinks of it, so I was fairly sure it was either Davey or Stephen's mom underneath the costume. "Davey is the one wearing the Davey costume" and "the 'local business' that Davey owns is the police" are both exactly the kind of joke that Paranatural likes to make, and it doesn't violate anything we know, so I had no particular reason to believe it wouldn't be true. I didn't come up with it on my own, though, so props to the ones who did.

Alt-text: we both understand why i had to keep the logistics of removing the mask off-camera, right? right? we understand i'm doing this to protect you from the horrid truth of it. Also yeah, while I wasn't the person who predicted it either, the moment I heard "It's Davey in the Davey costume" I knew that had to be it, especially when it was mentioned that the hand and hook were on opposite sides for the costume versus real Davey. His "local business" being the police was similarly just perfect and had to be the case.

the detail that cinched it for me was noticing he had the holes on the bottom of his giant chin, where no light could ever enter

Those are obviously fang holes.

Patware posted:the detail that cinched it for me was noticing he had the holes on the bottom of his giant chin, where no light could ever enter it was just a weird detail that didn't really make sense unless there was a good reason for it, and Davey being the one in the Davey suit was the only good reason we knew about.

Aren't the eye-holes in mascot costumes typical lower than the "eyes" on the costume head?

Davey can spin things so obviously he just spins his eyes down to look through the chinholes. If he can turn a hookhand into a sword, anything's possible.
|
# ? Oct 11, 2019 23:01 |
*sword into a hookhand i don't think he can permanently twist things, he has to hold them in place. he lets the hook go back into a sword before handing it off because he's leaving

In my mind there's a mirror on the inside top of the costume head, and since he's a vampire he doesn't reflect so he sees through himself out of the eyeholes.

Davy can manipulate the environment which explains how he can squeeze into the mask, it’s perfect Also he mentions to Hijack how he likes his town quiet and safe, which is a very cop thing to say. Further shown when he mentions to his son the peace he keeps for him. Make more sense when you’re a cop!

I love how we have 3 different things written on the Cops' vests (4 if you count SWAT on the shield). I guess uniformity's not one of Mayview PD's strong suits. I wanna know what THE FUZZ dude's deal is.
