had an appointment today with the liver doctor and they sent me a copy of the visit notes. each note starts with "jit is a 31 year old transgender female". I get why it's clinically relevant but it kinda sucks to see that as your sole identification, like I'm a tran and nothing else. hate 2b reduced to a label.

I have fatty liver but they don't think whatever hospitalized me is related so I have an mri and monthly blood work until they catch my levels trending up so they can get an active biopsy.

i’m so fed up with this loving country, managment at new job mismatched new hires schedule and i’m waiting till my shift but whatever its not about this, went to shopping mall to kill some time and strolled into bookstore, one of the books at top sellers shelf was a series of interviews with women working in sexology talking about problems of their female patients, it wasnt anything new about how women are treated like poo poo here but what pissed me off was entire interview about mostly trans men. The doctor who was explaining this kept referring to them as girls and women, even when talking about people who were deep into transition (grs, hormones, documents etc) and one sentence where she refered to trans women as boys in dresses and effeminate men. This was the only instance of trans women in this book, and it only fortifies my observation that this country just doesn’t want to acknowledge our existence, trans women will never be perceived as women, trans men never will be seen as men. Sexologists are the people who are in charge of managing our transition and this is how they see us. telling your doc that you are attracted to people of same gender as you are/want to be nearly always makes them see you as a straight and confused especially if you never been in relationship, yea who gives a poo poo that i have never had someone because i dont want to be a loving man in the relationship. I have yet to meet somebody who would ask me how to refer to me after calling me “ma’am” and being confused of my voice while responding, they always just apologise and call me “sir”. sorry for this long rant but needed to vent this somewhere

first day of work, lectures and some accounts activations, when finishing told my supervisor that im trans like a baller i am, gonna get id with my name whenever i want, gonna do it soon after moving, im checking some studio at monay so it might me soon, now get home at 0100 take a shower and wake up at 0500 and get on a train at 0600, im loving tired but happy for them being supportive with that

i'm sure someone else has brought this up elsewhere but over the weekend steam had an "LGBTQ+" sale that had some problems... like the first red flag when i checked it out was how many games were behind a content filter. disabled that, and man, tons of the games on sale were porn games, mostly yuri. which, i mean, don't get me wrong, i know plenty of queer people who are into those things, but it doesn't exactly bode well for your inclusive queer sale when a bunch of it is material generally marketed towards straight men who want to see hot anime babes kiss also on sale were wacky joke games where "ewww gay!!!" is the punchline, like that game where you play as trump and have sex with putin, so that's... something... i get the feeling they just included every game that had "gay" tagged by the developer without actually curating anything, which might work for other random sales but boy guys maybe wanna put a bit more thought into this one...

it wouldn't surprise me that valve took the absolute lowest effort route possible. they probably put more effort into curating the countries to show the ad for the sale in than they did the games selected.

Macfield and the Island of Memories but it's... intense... and has made at least one of my trans friends cry (though she loved it anyway), so yeahhhh e: in case anyone's never heard of it, it's a game that's basically about solving puzzles through self-harm, so maybe steer clear if you're not super comfortable with that
