Imagine trying to make a weepy drama about watching your father die... ... with the director of Wedding Crashers and Fred Claus behind the camera. Y'know, the guy who made Shanghai Knights. And The Change-Up. This was the movie Downey made instead of Inherent Vice. It's incredibly shallow, for no particular reason contains a subplot in which Robert Downey Jr's character thinks he might have hosed/considered loving a college student that's potentially his daughter, and if I remember correctly, a running gag about pissing. Mawkish, cloying poo poo. I don't think I've heard RDJ even reference its existence since it came out, and he and Susan goddamn shepherded the thing the whole entire way, it's that much of an embarrassment.

Disney+ is posting everything that's going to be on their service at launch so if you want to see what it looks like when a bunch of no budget 90s and 00s Disney Channel movies have to be updated to be on a platform alongside actual blockbusters you have a veritable feast of content. https://twitter.com/disneyplus/status/1183715553057239040

Yeah, this looks like they're definitely just made a movie based on the Aurora theater shooting while also wanting to be able to weasel their way out of being accused of profiting off a tragedy. Which is both disgusting and horseshit because one of the psychologists who interviewed the shooter said he wasn't in any way trying to pattern himself after the Joker.

There are a few originals on the list, including the Star Wars live-action spinoff series The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and The Lady and the Tramp live-action remake.
