Spring Break My Heart posted:Dont know if this is still the case (my guess is almost certainly yes) but all the different maps fractured the PUBG community and nearly everyone complained about getting anything besides the original. My only perspective is from watching one particular group play but it seems like the populations have mostly evened out. The big push back when they first started doing additional maps was, IIRC, because A) you couldn't select what map you wanted to play on, it just randomed you and B) the desert map had a number of issues that got ironed out over time. Said group doesn't like the jungle map, but I'm pretty sure that's because it's designed to be the instant-action Fortnite-chasing pressure cooker map while the other three are more chill.

Beat Silent Hill 2 today. Enjoyed it immensely. Last time I played it was almost a decade ago, probably. I remembered the broad strokes of the story, so it was fun to recognize the symbolism that appears in the earlier parts of the game, before it becomes apparent what James’ whole deal is. It was also fun to be surprised by the puzzles and smaller events and scares that I had forgotten. I got the water ending, not sure if I’ll play through again to get the dog one e: I will say, the last scene with Angela affected me in a way I didn’t expect.
