I was never the best at building myself, but I often got by just fine using stealth and playing the map itself because a lot of players are dumb and instantly build giant towers the second a singe bullet grazes them which often doesn't help them at all. Especially in the glorious days of C4 being a thing.  Though I have no idea where the meta is at this point, other than the giant robot crisis being resolved, so maybe that doesn't fly anymore.

I played a bit and I can tell you that balloons + rocket launcher makes building meaningless. You just jump way up with a balloon, and then shoot down at people with a rocket launcher.
