Masashi Takeda Kzy Naoya Nomura KAI Mayu Iwatani Robbie Eagles David Starr Kagetsu Takeda is awesome because he's the death match guy who rules at non death matches too. Always love those dudes and he's world class. Kzy has had an absolutely banging 2019. He is great and unaffiliated with WWE. Vote Kzy. Watch his match with PAC, please. Nomura is kicking on so much. Future Triple Crown champion

Bandido - was a very fun addition to BOSJ Aleister Black - hate to vote against Meiko but Aleister's one of my faves from the 2017-18 class of NXT Mizuki - any friend of Riho is a friend of mine Keith Lee - I'm basking in his glory Mayu Iwatani - Cena doesn't wrestle and Cobb lost a lot of shine in the G1 Robbie Eagles - an absolute revelation during BOSJ, was shocked at how much I fell in love with him and the Birds of Prey tag team rules David Starr - please don't go to WWE Mustache Mountain - like TUE it's almost unfair to put Seven and Bate together Bandido Aleister Black Mizuki Keith Lee Mayu Iwatani Robbie Eagles David Starr Mustache Mountain

Special formatting request: Please only list the name of the person you are voting for from each match-up. This will be easier for me to count than bolding names from match-ups. I can work around this if necessary, but if you can vote by just listing the name of your choice, that would be great. You can abstain from votes. You are not required to list that vote as ‘abstain,’ you just need to skip it. Marko Stunt Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Stunt is a very small wrestler who has a lot of charisma that can get him over with any crowd. His match with Joey Janela at Janela’s Spring Break 3 Part 1 was well received, and he’s been partnered with Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy in AEW. That trio had a great match with SCU at All Out. KENTA Eliminated in Round 2 of 2017 WH-128 by Asuka Eliminated in Round 2 in 2015 by Bobby Fish Eliminated in Round 2 in 2013 by Seth Rollins Eliminated in Round 4 in 2011 by Chris Hero Eliminated in Round 2 in 2009 by Edge Eliminated in Round 3 in 2007 by Ken Kennedy KENTA’s basically the Jon Moxley of Japan – he left WWE, where he was misused and unhappy, to go to New Japan. Once there, he had a bunch of great G1 matches, including against ZSJ, Ospreay, Okada, and Tanahashi. He also turned heel the last day of the G1 to join Bullet Club, punctuating his shift by beating down Katsuyori Shibata. KUSHIDA Eliminated in Round 4 of 2017 WH-128 by Tetsuya Naito KUSHIDA moved to NXT this year from New Japan. He ended his NJPW run with a great match against Hiroshi Tanahashi, and had a very good match with WALTER earlier this week. I’m still not sure how he’ll fit in with NXT, but he’s a great technician who can add in some good flying. Sami Callihan Eliminated in Round 1 of 2017 WH-128 by Kazuchika Okada Callihan has been at the top of Impact for most of this year, and was in a great feud with Tessa Blanchard over the last few months that have resulted in several highly praised matches. He also had a good match with Rich Swann in April. Takashi Sugiura Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Sugiura is one of the best male workers in Japan outside of New Japan for several years now, and this is in spite of being 49. He’s a four-time GHC Heavyweight Champion, and he and KAZMA SAKAMOTO had a short reign with the GHC Tag Team Championship this calendar year. His June match with Kaito Kiyomiya has a lot of amazing reviews, and he’s also had good 2019 matches with Marufuji, Shiozaki, and Kenou. Nyla Rose Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Nyla has quickly moved up the AEW women’s roster, establishing herself as a tough hoss who provides a nice contrast to smaller workers like Riho and Britt Baker. Just six years into her career, she’s shown an ability to work well with more experienced workers, as shown in matches like her triangle match opposite Riho & Yuka Sakazaki at Fyter Fest and against Riho on the first episode of Dynamite to determine the inaugural AEW Women’s Champion. She’s a bit green but appears to be improving rapidly. Arisa Nakajima Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 SEAdLINNNG's Nakajima has shown she belongs in the conversation for the best in the world in great matches with the likes of veterans Nanae Takahashi, Mima Shimoda and Takumi Iroha as well as getting the best out of talented up and comers like Asuka, Mei Hoshizuki and HIRO'e. With the Beyond the SEA Championship around her waist and her new faction "The Selfish Strawberries" behind her, Nakajima will surely continue to reward the loyal fans who seek out SEAdLINNNG shows. Thanks to George W Bushi for their help with this profile! Ali Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Ali has escaped 205 Live to become something of a major player on Smackdown. His 2018 was highlighted by great matches against Buddy Murphy, Drew Gulak, and Hideo Itami. His 2019 has been a bit of a step down, though he had an injury at a key time that reportedly resulted in his surprise run to the WWE Title being moved over to Kofi Kingston. He’s still a great performer, as seen in singles matches against Elias and Buddy Murphy. He also seems to be one of the nicest people in the business. Jake Lee Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Lee is one of the top workers in All Japan. His team with Koji Iwamoto (“SWEEPER”) has won the All Asia Tag Team Championship twice this year, and he also won the B block of Champion Carnival before losing to Kento Miyahara in the final. That final received four and three quarter stars from Dave Meltzer. He’s also had really good matches with Suwama and Naoya Nomura this year Jake Atlas Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Atlas is one of the top rising stars on the U.S. indie scene. Just three years into his career, he’s had show stealing matches in GCW & PWG. At BOLA weekend, his matches with Jungle Boy and Dragon Lee were both given four and a half stars by Meltzer. He also has a very good feel for showing charisma in his matches. He’s apparently debating if he should sign with AEW or WWE; regardless of where he goes, he should be a star for that company. Cameron Grimes Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 The former Trevor Lee has moved to WWE in 2019, debuting in NXT house shows in March. He made his televised debut in June as part of the NXT Breakout Tournament, where he advanced in the finals until losing to Jordan Myles. He’s now getting a push, with four straight televised wins. El Soberano Jr. Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Despite being a ten-year vet, Soberano is just 26. He’s a promising high flyer who’s improving by the day. His match with Barbaro Cavernario early in January this year was great, and he’s regularly finished as a key player in CMLL’s trios matches where he teams with other tecnicos. In September, he had a nice mini-feud against Templario centering on lightning matches. Finn Balor Eliminated in Round 2 of 2017 WH-128 by Dragon Lee Eliminated in the Quarter Finals in 2015 by AJ Styles Eliminated in the Semi-Finals in 2013 by Daniel Bryan Eliminated in the Quarter Finals in 2011 by CM Punk Balor made his return to WWE by joining the NXT brand as it debuted on USA, returning after some time off he took when he lost to The Fiend at SummerSlam. His unsuccessful title challenge against Brock Lesnar in January this year was enjoyable. He is still a good worker who seems underutilized by WWE. Chad Gable Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Gable is getting one of those weird Vince pushes where it focuses on the one thing that is a negative, as much as being short is a negative in 2019, and ignores all of the positives with someone. So let’s focus on what makes Gable good – he’s a really, really talented in-ring worker who’s also shown an ability to cut great promos if given the chance and not hamstrung with being called Shorty G. His tag team with Bobby Roode, while thrown together, was quite good, having a 4+ star match with The Revival. His move to 205 Live had him have a great series of matches with Jack Gallagher. Once he moved to Smackdown, his run in the King of the Ring tournament saw him have good performances with Andrade and even Baron Corbin. Drew Gulak Eliminated in Round 1 of 2017 WH-128 by Ricochet Gulak established himself as the technician specialist of 205 Live, where he held the Cruiserweight championship until dropping it to Lio Rush on October 9th. He’s had about as good of a year as anyone in 205 Live did, having good matches with Oney Lorcan, Isaiah Scott, Matt Riddle, and Kushida. The Rascalz, Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, & Zachary Wentz Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Xavier & Wentz are the tag team that work as The Rascalz, while Trey Miguel is the solo guy that was paired with them in Impact. Xavier & Wentz have held the PWG Tag belts since April 2018, and they’ve had great tag matches in the past two years against the likes of Bandido & Flamita, The Young Bucks, Jeff Cobb & Matt Riddle, the Luchas Bros., and LAX. Trey Miguel has also done well in solo opportunities such as his triangle match at PWG against Jake Atlas and Jungle Boy, and later against Andy Brown. Pete Dunne Eliminated in Round 3 of 2017 WH-128 by Kazuchika Okada Dunne is slowly being featured more by WWE after he was initially put in NXT UK, where he held the United Kingdom Championship for 685 days and defended it 19 times, though it felt more like five. Still, the Bruiserweight is a great worker, which you can see in his matches against WALTER, Roderick Strong, Velveteen Dream, and Joe Coffey. Matt Taven Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Matt Taven became the RoH World Champion on what is the biggest show in RoH history, their co-promoted G1 Supercard show. His matches after that win have largely been good, including a nice triple threat against Kenny King and Jay Lethal, and he did well in the match where he dropped the belt to Rush. Hana Kimura Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 The daughter of the legendary Kyoko Kimura, Hana held her first pro wrestling championship, the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship at the age of just eight years old, so it's no wonder she was destined for greatness. A long time fan favorite because of her charisma, Hana has recently begun to display impressive wrestling acumen putting her in the upper echelon of technicians, especially in her matches with TCS ally, Konami. After winning the 5 Star Grand Prix, it's only a matter of time before she makes her way to the top of the promotion. Thanks to George W Bushi for their help with this profile! Luke Harper Eliminated in Round 1 of 2017 WH-128 by Dragon Lee Eliminated in Round 2 in 2015 by Kevin Owens Harper has spent most of the past two years on the shelf while recuperating from an injury. He recent returned to back up Erick Rowan in the latter’s feud with Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. Harper is a big guy who can still go, as he showed in Worlds Collide against Dominik Dijakovic. Bobby Lashley Eliminated in Round 1 of 2017 WH-128 by Matt Riddle Eliminated in Round 1 in 2015 by ACH Eliminated in Round 2 in 2007 by William Regal Lashley made a surprise return to WWE the night after WrestleMania 34. He has spent most of his last year and a half mostly feuding with former members of the Shield, and then a feud with Braun Strowman. He was in a good triangle match against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, and had a good last man standing match against Braun Strowman. Flip Gordon Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Flip had a very nice 2018, where he built a lot of momentum and had great matches, along with a great storyline leading to his appearance at All In. Unfortunately, he opened 2019 with a major knee injury, and missed most of the first half of the year. He was able to return in June, coming back as a heel with Villain Enterprises to feud with Lifeblood. He was part of a great eight-man tag between the two groups. Jushin Liger Eliminated in Round 1 of 2017 WH-128 by Finn Balor Eliminated in Round 1 in 2015 by BxB Hulk Eliminated in Round 3 in 2013 by Brock Lesnar Eliminated in Round 3 in 2011 by The Undertaker Eliminated in Round 1 in 2009 by Rey Mysterio Liger announced he would be wrapping up his career at Tokyo Dome 2020, so his 2019 has had increased exposure for the veteran. He had a great title challenge against Taiji Ishimori in March, tagged with the Great Sasuke in a fun match against Shinjiro Otani and Tatsuhito Takaiwa in ZERO1 in July, and had a very nice send off in CMLL in July. He’s currently in a feud with Minoru Suzuki that has resulted in the return of Jushin’s psychopathic Kishin side. Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews Did not appear in 2017 WH-128 Webster & Andrews spent a couple of months of 2019 as NXT UK Tag Team Champions. Their title win came in a good match at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, against the Grizzled Young Veterans & Gallus. They also had a good match with Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel earlier in the year. Your ballot: Marko Stunt vs. KENTA vs. Kushida Sami Callihan vs. Takashi Sugiura vs. Nyla Rose Arisa Nakajima vs. Ali vs. Jake Lee Jake Atlas vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Soberano Jr. Finn Balor vs. Chad Gable vs. Drew Gulak The Rascalz vs. Pete Dunne vs. Matt Taven Hana Kimura vs. Luke Harper vs. Bobby Lashley Flip Gordon vs. Jushin Liger vs. Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews Voting closes at 7 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, or whenever I get in front of a computer after that.
