That's true, but the whole lying down in the 4th has been consistent across every game I've been able to watch. Even the tie and the 1 win I saw. It's frustrating as hell to watch.

In the Chargers and Eagles games they just barely managed to make the plays they needed to but in the losses and the tie, the defense went catatonic in the 4th, yeah. If they just manage like, one or two more stops late, the Lions probably win that game with how Stafford was balling out.SirPablo posted:Oh I must have missed all the lovely throws Cousins decided to make. Washed up Aaron Rodgers had 5 TDs and a rushing TD today. Hope they find someone to replace him in the draft this year. edit: and a garbage passer rating of 158.3. He's done. Malaria fucked around with this message at 21:53 on Oct 20, 2019 |

Coach looks good, defense is young but will get better, offense coming together. I think they are gonna be really good for the tail end of Rodgers career. Just like their noble namesake, the Detroit Lions are built for the initial clash to defend their territory, the roar and savagery and display of vigor. Then, should the fight go for too long, they will separate, retreat to lick wounds, and rest. It is the circle of life.
