Made some environments, then tried to match the environments to characters since my grid was uneven and the lower frames were taller.

Went on a trip to Antwerp today with my daughter, did some painting in the train and while we had some tea.

Oh, trip report on the Escoda brushes: They are heavenly, omg wow. I now have a 2, 6 and 10, would trade the 6 for a 4 but I think that is really personal preference and I can see the 10 being useful on large surfaces where you want a more abstract fill of your line art.
Hold a ton of water, keep a nice tip, flexible but spring back when they need to. The wooden part is nice to hold and they are surprisingly well balanced. The barrel is thicker than other brushes but you quickly get used to that. Yes, I can recommend these, they are Escoda Reserva in a set with a little leather pouch. I do not recommend the set, it is overkill, just buy the one or two brushes you really need.

What's everyone's favorite brush pen? I've been using a Pigma brush pen and really liking it so far! Love the bold lines you can get out of it. I'd like to get something I can refill though, I'm not too big on disposables anymore.

I use a Kurutake #8 brush pen, it’s one of my favorite I’ve used, especially considering how cheap it is

Wish I had a drawing ready to show its results but I definitely don’t

Faber-Castell PITT artist pen has been my favourite, but I'm also looking for a chance to change it to something I could refill myself. I actually love it because the tip keeps well as long as the ink lasts on the pen, so I can make the tiniest accurate lil lines on it, but it's still got a good bit of springiness if you press down. I've been ordering brush pens from aliexpress to at least find something cheaper and so far no luck, which sorta figures.

I mostly use the pentel one, but I also mostly use it for filling areas rather than linework. I've just got hold of a Unipin one that seems pretty tasty.

Did a bit more work on this guy. I thought it would be good practice / advertisement to generate some random D&D characters (from here ) and draw them. This character is a human ranger (monster slayer), 51 years old, outlander (former bounty hunter).

So cute, I love it. Nice work on the rendering.

I'm trying to do a few randomly generated, D&D 5e and maybe other ttrpg, characters. Here's another one, it's a Tabaxi(cat/jaguar people), warlock - undying (necromantic/undeath magic), investigator background.
