Pretty sure that wrestlers have just started incorporating that gesture into their selling since people have become more aware of what it indicates. Kind of like how refs started using the X sign more prominently when people became more aware it was a sign they used to use for legitimate injuries.

I really, really don't like the worked X sign, it's one of those things like the 'this isn't part of the show folks' that should only be used for shoot situations because otherwise you risk boy who cried wolf syndrome.

Keith Lee is a beast, shame that move looks bad there, looks like Roderick hosed it up though. Only people I'd trust to do the Tower of Doom would be Cesaro/Cena/Big E since those guys are loving beasts. I vaguely remember when Cena had Big Show and someone else on his Shoulders, it was insane. Also Cesaro throwing Big Show over the top rope in the Andre Battle Royale at WM30

if "the boy who cried wolf" happened to a wwe injury because of the X sign, what would be the consequences of that? Miss out on somber camera shots of the crowd? anywho I don't like the fake signal either. it's tacky. Also it was Edge. Edge lifted the big show and cena on his shoulders.

Paramedic/doctor is late because they think the X is just part of the show, which could be very bad depending on the severity of the injury. Unlikely yes, but not worth the risk in my opinion.

Was watching 2004 ROH, main event was The Prophecy of Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer vs The Second City Saints of Ace Steel & Colt Cabana (there was also Generation Next & The Briscoes but they were eliminated by this time). Anyway, Dan Maff did the Burning Hammer on Colt Cabana and I Do not envy Colt.

Yeah it was the finish, the Burning Hammer was (probably still is) Maff's finish. Immediately before it Whitmer gave Steel an exploder through the table you can see strewn on the mat  It's actually a pretty fun match, Maff & Whitmer are an under-rated team.

I watched most of NOAH's The Best show earlier and here are some gifs of some fun spots First, a neato and vicious move from HAYATA in the Jr Heavyweight title match  Two mist spots from the Muta vs Marufuji match because I'm a sucker for a good mist spot.   A simple spot, but Katsuhiko Nakajima kicking the bejesus out of someone is always fun
