I think that trailer has basically removed all the issues I had with the idea of Scamble. It’s more like the sequel I wanted to see than just a Dynasty Warriors clone.

Oh it's coming to PS4? For some reason I thought it was a Switch exclusive this whole time. I've never been too fond of the genre-hopping the spinoffs do, mostly because I don't care about rhythm or fighting games but this looks like something I could play. Cool.

I was 100% expecting a brainless musou with a lazy P5 paintjob and I was still excited about it. I'm loving thrilled that it looks like they're actually putting some effort in. Also thrilled to see a new sojiro cutscene for my top 5 anime dads of all time mega edit.

The fact that they limited P4G to Sony's worst selling device ever shows that Atlus is just fine with whatever bone Sony throws at them. A port of the first 5 Persona games to Switch (best version only, like P3FES and P4G, English PSP versions of both P2 games) would make good sense and would be a system purchase for me.

yes the switch is the new console for perverts because sony started enforcing content guidelines and nintendo does not (for third parties). probably the example of this nearest to normalcy is the switch release of doa xtreme volleyball has hornier swimsuits that they didn't put in the new ps4 version. but given the option i would always recommend buying multiplat games on sony rn for better performance and forward compatibility with 4k and hdr

Sony has adopted stricter content policies for games appearing on their systems that primarily appear to matter to Japanese games even in Japan. The current theory is that it's due to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where a LOT of Japanese companies have been toning down their more explicit media (they've even banned selling porn in convenience stores which had been allowed since the start of the industry there,) but the chud line is that because Sony HQ is in California it has to be the evil SJWs at work. EDIT: Sony is, of course, a HUGE Olympic sponsor and, while Nintendo has their hand in it too, I doubt Nintendo will be represented by anything except Pokemon, Mario and Zelda (and maybe Splatoon as it's HUGE there.)
