Pretty sure it's basically a guarantee that your signature gets stupider as you spend time in a role that means you have to sign a shitload of documents, and about the most definitive thing I can say about Donald Trump's work history is that he has definitely signed a lot of documents.

Trump's signature got stupid in a very different way than Nixon's famously did, although both of them definitely have a vibe that the person drawing it definitely just thought 'gently caress it' when it reached its final state.

I'd disagree that Trump has the "gently caress it" signature. I sign a shitload of stuff for work and the only thing you can really read with mine is the "S" that I start it off with. My signature has evolved pretty similarly to Nixons since I started having to do that.
Trump takes about 7-10 seconds to sign stuff (With a loving sharpie that fat classless gently caress) (I watched a few youtube videos of him signing poo poo to time it), as opposed to Nixon's final signature which probably took all of 2 seconds because he's not trying to show off.
When I sign something it's maybe a second because I'm not trying to make a big show of something, I just need to make my mark.
I'd give him the benefit of the doubt that he's taking his time for official stuff, but he signs personal correspondence the same way (see the printed out tweets (WTF) above) so it's just another way that he manages to annoy the poo poo out of me.

On the other hand, I tried timing Obama's signature. I get that the pens used are given out as fancy gifts and poo poo, but signing one letter per pen must be annoying as poo poo.

Say what you will about rich folk, but even the dumb ones have an intuitive understanding that overexerting their employees and keeping them distracted/fatigued is by far the "easiest" way to avoid the guillotine. It's a horrible strategy because it means that stagnation is about the highest RoI you can hope for, and the smart play is to get out in front of your employees and be a leader instead of just the fattest hog, but well humans do love going for what they think is the path of least resistance.

Coming from a religious background, nothing bugs me more than the folks who ostentatiously show their Christian BeliefsTM day in and day out, while simultaneously quintupling down on supporting someone who is the literal antithesis of those believes, to the point that the Bible literally spells out warnings against it. Like, there's plenty wrong with the belief system, but they're just happily throwing out the most basic 'love one another, do good but remember the ends don't justify the means" good person lessons that I learned all my childhood. Turns out they don't actually mean anything after all. It just makes it harder when the guy they're doing it for doesn't even have the decency to be competent or even the tiniest bit charismatic.

Ah poo poo dude, I guess the party who happily aligns with regressive policies, blatant racism, disinformation, and unchecked greed is bad? And shouldn't be compromised with? But since they are the second party we should still enshrine their beliefs no matter the consequences, because the consequences of fighting back could be *gasp* uncivil

Also the loving gall of insinuating that the GOP is the Party of Christ. Putting kids in cages because Jesus would want people to respect our boarders.
