Seth at least sort of has an excuse in that, being one of the faces of the company, it's kinda expected of him to go to bat for the company. Ziggler has zero reason to do it other than deeply held personal beliefs.

I don't think anyone even argued that Kofi shouldn't have lost to Brock, just that the way the match was laid out (if you can call it a match) was stupid and I know a good chunk agreed that the Fiend as champion was maybe not a sustainable idea (so don't put him in a title feud), and there's a difference between 'maybe wait a couple of months between running the same match again and rotate other guys in' and "EVERY MATCH MUST BE UNIQUE AND NEVER SEEN AGAIN LIKE TEARS IN RAIN" And... making fun of planning cards in advance when the last PPV literally had 3 matches announced until the night before is so WWE it hurts.

I don't recall AEW at any point specifically saying "we're listing every match on the card because the other company doesn't!" They just went out and did it. No calling attention to it, no being smug about it. They just did it. And the fans seem to approve. It's such a minor loving quibble that I'm not surprised someone ingrained in the WWE machine is in an uproar over it.
