Yeah I don’t think there’s actually a shortage of fascist non-heteronormative people actually, the same as there’s actually plenty of non-white fascists in the United States. It’s fashionable for some reason to make someone’s identity a shortcut for their expected beliefs these days but that’s obviously a huge mistake on a number of levels.

fascism is inherently the idea of the people being constituent units of an organic state, and so it isn't tethered to any specific identity. even minority groups within a larger population can have fascist leanings. look at the phalangists in Lebanon, they had this idea that they were the inheritors of "phoenician" culture and saw themselves as the constituent units of a maronite-nationalist lebanese state... this despite being maronites being less than a third of the population of lebanon at the time. given that any group with a shared identity can go fash, really the only determining factor in whether a given group with fashy leanings actually goes all the way is whether the makeup of the fascist movement at the time will allow them. there are plenty of jews who would have been nazis if given the chance, and Rohm and the SA showed that tons of homosexuals were more than willing to do so until hitler got sick of them. so furries could totally go fash as a group, except that the dominant strain of fascism right now is focused on a certain cultural milieu (christian dominionists with sexual hangups) that excludes them. Yeah hanging out in certain online spaces has showed me that being LGBT is no barrier to being fash. There's this contingent that grew up on 4chan and are overwhelmingly into LGBT porn, particularly if it has trans women in it, that also at the same time decry degeneracy and actual LGBT people. I don't get it, but they exist in quite large numbers. The few that I've spoken with in depth, (I regret my life decisions) even seem like they could be fulfilling the anti gay Republican role but for being trans, as in they are massively safe hating.
