There was a weird article a few days ago saying AEW was showing how fake its commitment to equality was because they hired Jake Hager (legit complaint) and neither Nyla Rose or Sonny Kiss hadn't been on TV in a few weeks (less legit complaint).

I will say that if you want to listen to someone talk very enthusiastically about Japanese wrestling John & Wrestling Omakase does a very good job. It's mostly interesting because they do a great job talking about non-New Japan most of the time. It's fun but it's one regular host & one or more guests so shows can flag a little depending on the guests. But if you want a podcast that doesn't waste much time talking about WWE & instead just goes on Japanese stuff, I usually don't regret listening. For example this last episode on Monday was previews of the big shows this weekend coming from Sumo Hall: NOAH, DDT & Big Japan. And I think a bit on Power Struggle. The episodes which aren't necessarily talking about current wrestling but dives into older stuff can be cool (there was one on the early years of NOAH for example and more recently there was one about ranking WCW years from '94 to '00 mostly as an excuse to talk about it) And the end of year discussion is always fun as last year there was a Joshi episode, ROH episode, DDT episode, New Japan episode, Big Japan episode & a WWE episode. And then another Year End Awards episode.
