That's clearly iconic EC comics horror host the Vault-keeper up there, so I'm assuming it's Vault of Horror.

It is from a Fantagraphics compilation of EC comics. They've put out quite a few and they all focus on one artist each. That one is from "Voodoo Vengeance and Other Stories" by Johnny Craig. While he mainly does stuff in the house EC style he also has some interesting bits of style in the title pages.

That story is pretty fun, it has a petty crook murdering a rich guy who is in the hospital for amnesia because he noticed that they looked exactly the same, then it turns out the rich guy was screwing everyone over, was hated by his wife and was flat broke. Then in the end he gets murdered by some guys who wanted revenge on the rich guy.

Punisher Kill Krew #4: Frank has gone on a roaring rampage of revenge across the Nine Realms to get revenge for a group of orphans who lost their parents during the War of the Realms. He has a list of fantasy victims and he's checking it off one-by-one, so he hitches his van to Thor's cosmic goats and gets to murdering. On this journey he has recruited the Black Knight (whose sword he needs to cut through the final ruffian's shields), Juggernaut (who was captured by some dudes Big Pun wanted to murder), and Foggy Nelson (who was also captured by different dudes and really, really just wants to go home. At the stronghold of the last boss, Black Knight cuts through the door and Juggernaut knocks it down. They slay the boss's minions and then he fires a rocket at Juggernaut. The black takes out Juggie, Knight, AND Punisher, leaving Foggy Nelson as the last man standing. He's been cowering and whimpering for issues now. He literally threw up at one point. But now, it's all down to him.

"AIM's cash cow was a ferret" is some inspired writing. And the "pointing is rude" section could have been taken from Sam and Max, and I mean that in a good way.

It's like "Awesome Facial Hair Bros" in that it's the easiest loving fix to make the same joke 10x better. Instead of "Science Five!" just have them say "Science!" Same point, way less awkward phrasing, and has the added bonus of subtext from when every other grognard was doing "SCIENCE!" jokes from 2005-2015 on the internet. - Instead of "Awesome Facial Hair Bros" have them say "Beard Bros" Same point, way less awkward phrasing. - and no, "Don't you get it the point it's that the phrasing is awkward " is a horseshit excuse. There's awkward, and then there's "I refuse to believe any creature, real or fictional, would talk this way." I have an easier time buying into Silver Age dialogue than I do "Science Five."
