Can anyone remember what the various Lib Dem positions on Brexit have been and when they flopped from one to the other? It would be useful for countering the idea of them being the party of remain or just generally the idea that they are in any way trustworthy (especially when they were asking for a referendum with no deal on the ballot).

Basically, if a seat is Tories 8000 Labour 7000 If it's a "Labour recommended" tactical vote, it will say it's only 1000 votes to flip. If it's for Lib Dems, it will say something like "it's only 300 votes to flip!"

I'm not trying to dig at you, just not sure I follow. I mean, there is a thing where people pretend to care about someone's bigotry just as a way to bash them without actually caring about the issues, which is Bad. (I remember once a certain threadbanned poster mocking Wings Over Scotland's transphobia once, only to later be a similar rear end in a top hat in other threads about trans people.) As A Trans, so long as you can check with yourself that you are bringing it up out of it being a main source of your disgust at [person or people you're mocking] rather than just wanting to find some random thing to insult them with, I don't personally have an issue with it. Promoting transphobia by relentlessly posting every transphobic thing a person says while trans people are around reading a thread is A Thing, but so long as you're not relentlessly posting nobody twitter randoms it's probably within the remit of the thread to bring attention to when prominent politicians are being shameless assholes. The SNP's transphobia problem is interesting as, similar to a lot of issues that aren't independence, there's a split between different factions of the party, and the actual TERF contingent seems to be something of a minority. (Anyone actually close to the internal workings of the SNP feel free to expand on this.) Sturgeon herself seems to be in favour of trans rights, but is also willing to make noise and delay stuff to seem as if she's listening to the bigots. This might prevent big splits in the short term but at this stage looks more likely to disappoint both sides. The TERF lot see anything short of actively rolling back trans protections as a capitulation to the dastardly trans lobby, and as a member of the dastardly trans lobby myself it's obvious this is making their criticisms look legitimate when they could, y'know, actually make a stand on something, anything. Yea, verily, you were so focused on fighting the Tories that you didn't fight... The Tories Within. [dramatic music, lightning bolt]

Thanks for reminding me to make my first bet since... well, the last election. Best I could find was 16/1 for an overall majority, so £340 for £20. If you fancy a flutter get in quick, I'm sure the odds will be shortening rapidly. Now to find a seat calculator so I can take a punt on the UKMT spreadsheet. Suggested charity will be https://www.airserv.org/, the non-religious version of the MAF.
