The spotter perk is good for that and you'll almost never run into them accidentally (and now you get extra info about where enemies are hiding) but they're still pretty annoying because (unless you've got a gun with FMJ and can blow them up through a wall) there are a lot of angles they can be placed at where you still can't detonante them without at least hurting yourself. I guess that's why the explosive resistance perk also lets you hack them but that's like 2 of your perks just to deal with claymores, they're super strong
