People are really mad because she has a history of not treating non-binary people well when discussing gender theory, which she does a lot. This was basically the straw that broke the camel's back. The big deal at the moment is that Natalie did a long answer that doubled down on her ignoring the worst parts. She's still acting like people are only mad at Buck for a few tweets and is outright saying that she sees herself as more of a channel for cool centrists and alt-lite and she never really wanted leftist fans anyway. Lindsay is presumably in focus because she defended Natalie and spun up the theory that people calling Natalie out were really Gamergate 2.0 and just as bad as the chuds sending death threats. She got a fun positive boost from being part of Ricky Gervais' meltdown. Then she made a dumb joke (did a few twists on "I identify as Ricky Gervais) that were not well received, especially given the shadow hanging over her from Natalie. That's the quick and dirty version.

Natalie's whole thing is talking politics, so if it looks like her politics are going towards being a sucky liberal (at least as far as gender stuff, which has been her main topic for awhile) than there's not much point in boosting her  . It is basically the Mueller moment for "LeftTube" though. Some people are realizing that it was a bad idea to build up a little circle and hang all their hopes on them. I guess in fairness, at least some of the people who are most angry don't have a lot of ways to do outreach other than investing online. Not healthy, but, what can you do.

The Epstein stuff is fascinating because nobody ever questioned how this guy got all this money when his story made no sense (there weren't many billionaires when he started his hedge fund to start with). The vast majority of conspiracy theories - even widely believed ones - are utter horseshit and people just trying to made sense of chaos by putting it in some ordered system but nothing about Epstein's life makes sense except as a pimp for rich pedos.
