I’m still waiting for Kojima to make me ashamed for my thoughts and words for criticizing his complete inability to include a woman in his games that are treated like humans and not sextoys. Until then I’ll take a hard pass on reading his high 14 year old tier hot takes on geopolitics.

No matter how childish and weird Kojima’s takes are they still make for a far more interesting experience than nearly every other video game out there. Death Stranding looks interesting as hell but I won’t play it because it doesn’t actually look fun. I’ll read about it, though.

mgsv is still my favorite game of all time mgs3 is the best mgs though in my mind complaining about kojima being a bad writer is like complaining that wrestling is fake; it both doesnt matter at all and is also the reason why i love the games so much so ill prolly do another thread just so we can spam there and those that wanna read can read there

I've been checking out people hacking old consoles and computers to produce music and poo poo lately, and apparently the NES was really capable if it had a cartridge with the right add-in chips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOdupPU0fSw Dude re-created the music from the SNES Star Fox corneria level faithfully using the Namco-163 chip (would have been a cartridge addin, adds 8 channels of wavetable samples) and the FDS chip for the FM track used for the distorted guitar. orange juche fucked around with this message at 23:44 on Nov 6, 2019 |

I was wrong the FDS chip was not on board on the US/PAL NES, it was part of the Japanese Famicom Disk System (Floppy disk addin for Japanese NES)
