Trump has always been a reverse engineer job where he checked off all the boxes of the deplorable/combative/racist/classist right wing aspects that actually make up 90% of being an American Christian these days and they needed to come up with paper thin explanations on their own to call him a good Christian man, up to and including just plain pretending he's had a Kanye-esque born again moment so they can handwave away his entire past. Trumps big contribution to this effort has always been just tacitly approving of whatever they're doing, giving them shout-outs and occasionally attending some conference. I assume most of their interactions these days consist of trying to avoid any more "two Corinthians" moments where the outside world gets to dunk on them for obviously being in a loveless marriage of religion and politics for the sake of the 14 words. Kanye asked to come in, Trump would just as well not bother if he thought he could win an election without them or if they asked him to do anything he wasn't already doing.

I did some brief research on this guy, and decided to stop because im not really equipped to write dissertations on bulgarian parliament. However the most important thing i guess is that his political party BMPO (IMRO-Bulgarian National Party) is one of the claimants of successor to IMRO, the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, the ultranationalists who assassinated the bulgarian prime minister (Aleksandar Stamboliyski) for not pursuing irredentist claims in yugoslavia, as well as more broadly and importantly his socialist views (the imro also collaborated heavily with the croatian nazis in the ustase). This bulgarian party basically thinks that macedonia should be a part of bulgaria. However, the other large claimant as the successor party of IMRO is an actual Macedonian party, the " Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization – Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity", which is the second biggest macedonian parliamentary group, very recently switched from being pro-nato to anti-nato, and absolutely despise bulgaria. So in conclusion i dont know much about the internal politics of eastern european countries
