there’s a microscopic niche of the hobby that’s really fixated with doing uncomfortable things involving women in scale models and this manufacturer caters right to them. there’s some hosed up tiny faction in model railroading with including peeping toms girls changing clothes, and loving in cars too.

Wild. I went down a sort of sculpture rabbit hole on Instagram and i was curious about these high-end model kits I remember Adam Savage talking about in one of his videos but I could not remember the name of the company so I figured it would be easy to find and holy poo poo was I wrong! Turns out the easiest poo poo to find is Gundam, model cars, model war planes, and disturbing trucker fantasies. E: awful app typos

there is something compelling about the weight and feel and purposefulness of a firearm. the mechanical focus of the thing. i don't own any but i appreciate their appeal. kind of the biblical sense of "awesome," where it means something that is simultaneously beautiful and terrifying. i feel the same way about fighter jets. they're designed only for killing, but they're still super cool
