One of my most concrete examples of age changing my tastes is watching MWC as an adult in my 30's vs. a teen when it originally aired. I crushed on Kelly when i was like 15-16, and found Peg gross, but now its like: Al, dude your wife is hot and horny, wtf wrong with you? gently caress your poor horny wife.

It’s insane to me that you could look at a temperature scale positioned around the temperatures water boils and freezes at and go ‘THIS IS BULLSHIT’ like what is the F scale actually even meant to represent? I’m genuinely curious bc I didn’t grow up with it so maybe there’s a reason why it’s so fuckin weird and arbitrary, or rather why it isn’t

I think we need to change the coldness scale, like It's "cool" if you can walk around comfortably in a sweater of any thickness. (Sorry, I think that's "jumper" in metric.) It's "chilly" if it's only cold enough for your mom to make you wear a jacket, or if you are a grandma in a restaurant. It's "cold" if the dumbest guy in your school is walking around in shorts and flip-flops loudly yelling YEAH BRUH I DON'T REALLY FEEL THE COLD HUH HUH HUH. This is also how you know if snow is on the ground. Like, let's be empirical about this.
