This was a very good episode. Again. It's almost like... like these season 14 episodes are as good as the ones from hallowed, preciousss seasons 2-6. Maybe... maybe we can shake this curse of The Downhill and comparing episodes because that feeling, the need to remember the good old ones, is not needed...? Maybe. Sunny is as good as it was again. If this is an notably good episode that is being compared favourably with the show's golden years that does suggest that other episodes in the season aren't quite up to that standard, otherwise the comparison wouldn't need to be made. But hey, the show is frequently good, often great and only occasionally bad, for a show that's been running for 14 years that's impressive in itself.

imo the season has been decent-to-good so far, but this really felt like an old school circa fat mac episode. it had by far the most heh-out-loud moments for me so far banter, that big paper stand thing i dont know the name of, dee gagging, eggs from a nest in a hole, the chesty anchor that dennis daydreamed about choking with a pillow, america!, etc. also unlike most other shows, sunny bottle eps are the best. just put them in somewhere and force their interactions imo. btw during the opening i thought it would be frank on the roof but its way better that he is mistaken for the poor schlub's dad & he just wants in so he can get his reefer + gently caress-melon

 Her arc was delightful and I'm kinda sad they killed her off. Her absolute decent from fairly normal person to total dysfunctional madness is right up there with cricket.

Just watched the Gang Beats Global Warming episode, was that the same guy from the last time Dee was on the bus? That's awesome. Also it feels super weird to me to watch a heat wave episode on a wint'ry cold night, just like Christmas episodes feel in mid summer.

Not sure it's been mentioned, but should be noted, but Dee threw her piss in Mac's face in the Gang Hits the Road episode and that after the zoo episode Mac has been pissed on by every other member of the gang. The only member of the gang to hold such a distinction.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to air today but Amazon is absolutely terrible about their timing of episode releases. I got the most recent season of Mr. Robot for free simply for asking customer service why it wasn't out on the day it was supposed to be. I didn't even do some Becky asking for the manager poo poo they just gave it to me. vvvvvvv I had already bought the season of Mr. Robot and they reversed the purchase of the whole season but flagged it as owned. The scene in the vets had everything I want in an Always Sunny scene... a ridiculous solution to a problem, a reveal of someone being in the room you weren’t expecting, members of the gang absolutely not understanding something that’s been repeated umpteen times, and a sting of taking that stupidity to a new level of offense. Bit of hypocrisy thrown in is just the icing on the cake. Also kinda looking forward to seeing Dee with the chop.
