London and Kendrick were kings of Velocity, the last time I actually consistently enjoyed a WWE show. Also props to the rarely remembered Jamie Noble/Kid Kash Pitbulls.

The only time you hear wrestlers talk in New Japan (aside from the backstage interviews) is typically if they win in the main event of the show or if they're challenging someone for a title/big match earlier on in the night so chances are you'll never have to hear TJP talk, and that's when he's at his best.

Lead Pipe Cinch posted:Was Biff good out in the wild? I’ve only seen a couple of his NXT matches that seemed restrained, but he seems to be pals with a bunch of dudes I enjoy. Biff was pretty good in PWG. Just as he started to hit his stride, WWE poached a handful of PWG regulars, so he never really got to shine as much as he could've. You see little glimpses of his indie self in NXT/205 Live matches where he is just a stiff wild madman who is willing to kill himself as long as he can kill his opponent too. i can't speak for his non-PWG work, but i assume much of the same. the real tragedy is that he never got to have his match vs. Super Dragon bc Dragon got injured in his last match, which was pretty darn good. if Biff got let loose i bet he'd be a bit more rounded and still as crazy, so hopefully he does leave soon!
