TD going through a hangover from last nights loss

quote:

At what point should we start to worry?

I want to see Trump re-elected in 2020. I will vote for him. But I am disturbed by the recent state elections electing democrats. I get that KY's governor wasn't popular and that LA's governor is of the more moderate variety of democrats, but I don't like seeing this trend continue. Not to mention, the Virginia results. At what point should we start worrying about the 2020 election?
-

We should be worried as hell NOW. You're right to be scared. Trudeau didn't get kicked out either. We have a serious problem.
We lost our focus and we lost our direction.
So many idiots used to show up here talking about how much they wanted to gently caress AOC. Now she has become THE most powerful figure on the Dem side AND the Dems keep winning.
-
Trends aren’t in our favor. We don’t fight back. Big tech, Hollywood, msm, and edu push socialism. We hosed
-
Agreed. Even if Trump manages to win 2020, he will be the last Republican president. We caught onto the demographic slide too late, and not enough people awake to stop it from going over the cliff. I'm not really talking about this single state election, but actually the bleak future prospects for the Republican party as a whole, and the direction the entire culture is going in.

Strap in and hold on tight. Not trying to get all "doomsday", and you can laugh if you want, but life isn't a Disney movie. Safety isn't guaranteed. Thriving, prosperous societies have been reduced to nothing and even lost to history, many times.

Stock up on resources now, and put them in a safe place. Just be prepared for anything and look out for your families. Try to find community when and where you can. Go to church if religious, it's a great way to network and their doors will always be open to you.

And look, white folks... Just hear me out on this:
Take a long, hard, real look at the propaganda against you. It's not going away anytime soon. Nobody with power is fighting against it. Do you think it's just a passing trend?

Take a look at history, the bloody parts. Think about how many people living back then must have thought "Nah, it would never go that far, I'll be fine", or how many people on the other side of it thought it was completely justified for many reasons. Think about how normal things must have felt, right in the lead-up to it. The "boiling frog" comes to mind.

When you look at history, does it really make you think human beings are prone to holding hands and getting along no matter what, not "seeing color", or does it look more like a long series of tribalism and warfare that still continues to this day? We're all "red, white, and blue on the inside"? Well that sounds lovely, but peoples ideas of what that even stands for are getting more fractured every day.

Oh, and fun fact white people are only around 10% of the entire global population. Nobody is going to stick up for you. After all, who can beat the US right now? So when people who hate you control the US, who's gonna stand up to them? Just food for thought.
-
I keep trying to tell people this. I live in New Orleans and my black friends and neighbors would vote for satan before they’d vote conservative.
-
Pedes...avoid ALL MSM (even Fox) and search engine Internet news headlines for the NEXT TWO DAYS until all this blows over. No news on TV or radio either. The propaganda will only depress you. Only 'safe space' is here. Need a breather for a few days.
-
I have mad respect for black (and I guess any non-white?) Republicans, because I know many who have lost friends and been alienated from family over their choices. It can't be easy.

But the fact remains that they are in the minority of minorities. They will always be. BLEXIT and other movements sound nice, but it's not going to save the Republican party.

It never is. They need to focus on their base.
It is not rayciss to look at the hard statistics of how certain groups vote and acknowledge reality. Also, maybe just maybe, they aren't all just brainwashed to vote that way, maybe they vote that way because they want to. Maybe that's how they'll always vote, no matter how much you harp on about "lowest black unemployment".
-
The Founding Fathers risked their lives fighting the British. The least we can do is canvass, phonebank, and engage in grassroots campaigning to ensure the country they created lives on. I know many people want to enjoy their lives and relax, but we cannot just sit idly by and let the Dems destroy the country. When speaking to left wingers, I have noticed that it is pretty easy to debate them as they tend to stick to their echo chambers, thereby knowing little of the opposition's talking points.

People here seem to think that left-wing cities are lost because everyone is a rabid ideologue. Such is not the case. People are simply not exposed to opposing view points. There are three reasons for this: the left's control of the media, its control of the education system, and thirdly, conservatives' refusal to engage in the same grassroots campaigning that liberals do.

My past experiences have shown me that we can make inroads, but only if conservatives actually begin to take the initiative and volunteer for political campaigns and conservative activist groups like Turning Point USA. Trump cannot do this on his own. This is our country and we must stand up and fight for it. We must not let the Founding Fathers' sacrifices die in vain. We must protect our Republic and our liberties.
-
I mean issues like abortion aren’t what one the day in a state like Louisiana, they’re probably one of the most socially conservative states.

Edwards won because he promised everyone free poo poo.
-
Demographics will be the death of our GREAT country!
-
Unlike blacks, whites don't vote as a bloc, which will ultimately be our undoing.
-
Blacks in Louisiana voted 98% for Edwards (D). According to US Census Bureau population projections, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Maryland will be plurality black states by 2050.
-
I think people forget that any state with a large black population will always have the Dem candidate favored as an incumbent no matter how horrible they are. No matter what you hear in the echo chamber, there is no blexit, and blacks will continue voting Dem until the end of time.

This does not mean that the GOP cant win. But they need to run a relevant and aggressive campaign. By aggressive i dont mean attack ads.
-
The results from the primary showed the Dem getting 40 some odd perfect of the vote, with the GOP split as usual. The Dem getting that high alone indicated that he had a really good chance of re-election. It was probably the potus that got the GOP as far as they did last night.

T_D has been a radicalizing force for years now. Many shooters have actively browsed T_D, especially early on when it was popular. Now that it has been quarantined, T_D has shrank considerably in size.

Part of me really wants to do a history of T_D from an objective angle. I don't think it's been done before and it's been incredibly important for the fringe right for several years now.

Like if he could just endorse 2016-era Kamala with no Bernie or Liz around to beat the M4A/GND drums, that would be his ideal ticket. I don’t think he particularly likes Biden as a candidate, but the ship on having all of the potential nominees sound like Klobuchar policy-wise has sailed.

The radicalization process is more robust than T_D, /pol/ and 8chan, though they're definitely huge forces. Most of them aren't openly Nazis, but they're Nazi adjacent or platform the people who talk to Nazis.

The term for this would be long tail marketing where you influence a lot of small audiences and it is a legit marketing tactic because you can pick up a lot of influential people for cheap or free and gain access to audiences in a more intimate way that most big personalities can't.

It looks like the naming convention started up with the Sioux, the bubble-canopied, exposed welded-tube tail boom two-seater popularized by M*A*S*H. Pretty much after the Iroquois, the Native American naming convention stuck with the Army, perhaps because of the re-imaging of horse-cavalry troops into heliborne Air Cavalry. The Navy doesn't use it and any Marine rotorcraft that's not cross-utilized have their own naming, like the attack helicopters Cobra and Venom.
