Why do you guys reckon that like on Caitlyn when I look at winrates, Mortal Reminder has like a lower winrate as a late item than just about everything else? Should I basically skip it unless they have more than one huge tank that's becoming A Problem or a ton of healing? I mean I know going by winrates is kinda suspect but it's like I feel like statistically significantly lower and I wasn't sure why Maybe because it doesn't really help you kill objectives and towers?

I think Grievous Wounds, and by extension, MR is really important to have, but its opportunity cost is so high on an ADC. It could take up space that would be better served by GA, BT, or QSS, when the rest of your team should be applying GW and you shouldn't be engaging solo

Just my guess, but it might be because Mortal Reminder is p.much always a late buy and champions that heal a lot tend to have winrates almost directly correlated with game time. So in the games that last long enough for it to be built, the champions it is being built against get strong enough that its winrate tanks even if it's objectively the optimal item to buy. Conversely, a lot of items are probably really suboptimal but have sky-high winrates becasue they're what people buy when they're stomping.

well when I say mortal reminder I was thinking of it in terms of as an armor pen item, because I almost never see anyone buy LDR what I'm saying is I feel like Caitlyn has a higher winrate with no armor pen items at all and I was wondering why that was the case

Tanks are pretty rare right now, and thanks to the changes to runes and items they still tend to be less durable than they were in seasons past. Finishing your build as an adc late game now is more about being able to kill whoever is attacking you faster than they kill you or having something defensive to mitigate burst damage.

This isn’t really a season with many tanks. That lowers the relative value of armor penetration items considerably. Comparing item win rates is also super tricky. For example, when your team snowballs and you get that 20-25 minute win, you don’t have time to build LDR or Mortal Reminder, so that pushes the total win rate for no armor penetration items up. Does that mean armor penetration items are bad? No, they’re just items you typically build in the late game, so you have to judge them in the proper context. To my knowledge, no analytics site really helps you to do that.

This is often a decent idea, especially if you're against the likes of Vladimir. Though if you're in bot lane you shouldn't really be running into a Vlad that early.

Just had the funniest loving game I'm support Lux and the enemy Lucian is obviously playing EXTREMELY tryhard We get a few kills on him and some clutch escapes and the enemy team starts saying "report Lucian for racist chat and toxic please" Then I say in all chat "you mad lucian" and this just snaps him and starts going off "you weight 100 irl" "i bench 400" "you probably support Bernie, voted for hillary, and warren and AOC" "god your so cringy" "OH NO I SAID A RACIST WORD I'M GONNA GET BANNED OH NOOO" "add me after and I'll loving show you" to the last one I say "don't @ me nerd, I don't add poo poo players" and he spends the entire rest of the game spamming all chat with "okay bro" So after we win I report him, and get an instant feedback report that he was punished  He starts spamming friend requests at me, and every time I say no he does it again until he eventally starts cancelling the ones he sent before and re-sending them to I guess annoy me with the friend request sound? That's a very good idea for a good number of champions and situations. The similar magic damage one is going Morello's. In that case the Oblivion Orb is a good item on a hell of a lot of AP carries anyway. Lethality can be goofy but flat pen isn't something you should ignore entirely. There are some champs that want it early but in the case of ADC specifically a lot of them want attack speed and/or crit first.

Welp I was gonna make a push for diamond from p1 but I tilted all the way to p3 by losing like a poo poo ton in a row. Probably end of the season for me, I'll just reset my mental by not playing for few days. Also not sure why but whenever I duo I get dogshit teammates.
