honestly i think the best way to reboot Three's Company is to just take a couple scripts of the old show and just make it into a porno. Really stay true to the production quality, writing quality and horniness of the original show, which would be completely unmemorable if it weren't for the comedic talents of Joyce DeWitt and especially John Ritter, one of the most underrated comedic actors of all time.

but what Furley didn't see is that he's loving each of his roommates in their rooms without telling the other, keeping it a secret by making really loud noises to cover up the act and claiming he's "looking for something", and when he hears the doorbell, he runs out into the living room into a panic, accidentally spearing Larry, who is bent over the couch for... some... reason i don't know i'm sure it will also be incredibly contrived because that is how Three's Company works

If they make it a weekly show on youtube and he has guests every week I bet you could get decent viewer numbers.

Three's Company's premise is a product of it's time and I don't think it works 40 years out. You have Jack pretending to be gay so he can be a roommate in an apartment with two women. My roommate in 2019 is a woman, and no one cares.

The show was apparently controversial at the time because my roommate had a friend who was no longer allowed over because she watched Three's Company.

There’s really only two, but there’s multiple releases of it because A24 is doing a loving baffling thing where they seem to be releasing a separate edition for every special feature you’d expect on a regular Blu-Ray. The Director’s Cut mostly adds characterization and one more ritual the gang witnesses before poo poo goes south, and it seems to just be up to personal preference.

I watched that last week. I haven't watched it in years. It's still such a good movie. I like it even more this time around now that I'm more familiar with the movies it was pulling inspiration from. All the gags and cartoon humor hold up and everyone is really good in it.

I’m down, but I’m assuming contracts for most of the cast will still be an issue since only Pine and Quinto were onboard for a 4th film.

This movie is estimated to have a budget of 300 million dollars. I cannot fathom why an executive would greenlight a project like this with a budget that high.

It might just focus on a different crew. Might even be in the original timeline.

After Alita, maybe frequent Tarantino collaborator Robert Rodriguez should direct. Maybe Rosa Salazar can make a second Trek appearance; she recently played a captain in a Short Treks episode, with H John Benjamin playing an ensign in a ship plagued by tribbles.
