I know we all wanted to hate the Irishman and I would probably feel ripped off if I sat in a theater but since it's on Netflix I mean go hog wild with your aging poo poo and incidentally the reviews are very good.

They cleaned up the VFX significantly. That said I think it is pretty telling that you don't see any Universal logo at the top of the trailer.

I don't think it can be explained enough how insane Cats is as a production. Rebel Wilson's character is meant to have an extended tap sequence with the rest of the cast dressed up as tap-dancing cockroaches. She seems to be mostly a "comic" relief character but I have to assume her song makes it in so... hope she's been practicing those shuffle off to buffalos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hqGq-Kr9Hs&t=158s Her character is normally a sleepy cat but at night she goes to the basement and teaches manners to mice and cockroaches, also like all the other cats she wants to die, and maybe if her dancing is good enough the main cat will choose her to die. I don't know if "high" is really enough for this, I'd try and track down some shrooms for that permanent mental scarring. Three hundred million dollars.

It's a pretty standard "Underdog tries to woo girl from mean jock through winning something" story where everyone happens to be a personified train. Toy Story with trains. Cats is just random unexplained poo poo happening for vague never truly fleshed out reasons and everyone is in hideous fursuits.
