I am a congenital optimist.
its funny that people who have their immediate material needs provided for in the context of a society of capitalist hyper-competitiveness and extreme classism immediately pivot to thinking that their organization is somehow "the most socialist" as that organization carries out constant atrocities in the name of global wealth exploitation. just because the capitalists gave you healthcare for braining a farmer with an AK trying to push off American-brand egalitarianism from their occupied land doesn't make them any degree worthy of the label.

From that it sounds like just the entrance so that water doesn't get to the actual station / tracks.

the station is not flooded you dunces they are testing a seal at the entrance so there is probably like 2 feet of water sitting on top of it and they are checking for leaks underneath

The military compensates its members with no-cost education, food, health care (to include all the dumb divisions insurance companies think up like dental, vision, etc.), housing, and work-related travel; further, every person of the same paygrade receives the same pay on a graduated scale for time in service, before any adjustments made according to special circumstances such as basic allotments for housing and subsistence, combat pay, deployment pay, hazardous duty pay, per diem travel, regional cost of living adjustments, additional uniform stipends for those members who have earned more expensive uniform devices, and so on.
