The people who are integral to all our stupid poo poo moving around in this country should be allowed to keep their old soppari and their barely adequate pay jesus loving christ. Well, apparently that's actually the profitable part of their business, and what's really been been dragging them down is the hundreds of millions they've burned on their logistics branch. So it's kinda looking like the actual point of these shitshows (including the current one) is to squeeze more money out of their government-enforced monopoly so they can funnel it into buying failing companies and undercutting prices in a totally different market that isn't even part of what they exist to do.

Fire the Posti board, spin off or outright shut down the logistics side, turn the letter-carrying into a public service (which it loving is). Done. My worry is Rinne & co are suffering from punditbrain. The fact is that no matter what you do, the press is going to pull a Corbyn on you. So ignore them and take some swift and decisive action and people will love it even if the press won't.

I don't often agree with left-wingers posting on this board much less Cerebral Bore, not only because of his views but I also have little tolerance for anyone who can't post without being "edgy" and "meant to be taken seriously" by constantly spamming the word gently caress or literally or wishing death or forced labour on their political opponents... however our loving infra should literally loving be loving our national property which goes for post office, road and rail network, electricity, and to continue on that natural resources like mines and forest and lakes. I don't think anyone else in the world can just sell a huge phosphate deposit or something to some foreign company for a single payment and nice kickback for him and buddies and get away with it. Ok maybe in Africa.

Like it's absolutely loving insane that Posti's johtajat can underwrite such complete failures of business deals paid by taxpayer money, year after year, and not only suffer zero reprecussions at all but actually still get their pay (with regular raises) on top of bonuses and then gently caress off somewhere else. Yet if a regular worker fucks up and causes say...5000e worth of damage to something, it's probably a firing for them. And of course none of this has merited a mention in the current discussions. Yeah, the money these fucks make is completely justified, otherwise we won't get the types business geniuses who invest 200 million on loving Itella Russia or in Veikkaus which is basically sitting on a re-created Sampo and just wanking the crank all day long. At this point I can't figure out if Rinne is actually dumb or just amazing at playing dumb, because if he's actually dumb he's having pretty great personal luck. There's no way to fix this problem without making it look like it's Kepu's idea so sitting on it and not doing poo poo is actually the best move for Rinne. It allows the Posti executives to dig their own grave and him doing actions that would be "drastic" and "socialism" are suddenly reasonable intervention if a little too late.

Does it mean anything for varhaisjakajat that Posti Palvelut goes to Palta? They were the ones who originally got screwed by being moved over there. Would be neat if they got their original contract back but I doubt that's on the cards.
