RE: Melania -- while she obviously made a really bad choice in marrying Trump, shes also hostage to the situation right now. Divorcing Trump when he was just a billionaire business man would be risky enough in the best of times, but divorcing Trump while he is the most powerful (and spiteful) person on the planet is literal suicide, not only for her but for Barron as well.

So basically there is no path whatsoever to Trump getting actually removed from office, and the Senate trial is basically going to be a party-line vote intended to try and show voters that the GOP is a bunch of ghouls? I mean, impeachment is the right thing to do. It’s just gonna have more of an effect at the polls than on anything else.
