Skills seem to imply you get some of it back via "advanced" and "expert" training but I'm not sure if that claws stuff back to make it 1 for 1 with normal EVE

Nice. Also interesting but not necessarily obvious stuff: Click holding on your ship in space opens a radial menu that includes "self destruct" as an option, as well as orbit distance. No loving idea how one would actually find a target without dscan though. Click hold and dragging the "warp to" option allows you to land at range from the warp object.

Right now it looks like there is no criminal actions allowed in Highsec at this time, nor a punishment system for stealing cans, there's also no system for disabling safeties on weapons. You can attempt to kill people with drones in highsec. 'DED Soldiers' act as a Concord equivalent but don't seem to actually spawn - you just pop.

If the bug reports threads are to be believed, a ton of people are trying to PVP in lowsec and dying to sentry guns. When you do poo poo, you get a 2 minute combat flag but also a mention of being shot for 10 minutes if you go into Empire space. People let the 2 minutes pass and fly to a gate thinking they're safe. Blarp. Guess they meant 10 minutes, period.

it's abnormal, you get shot by sentries by having the timer, not by shooting in their presence also if you have criminal, you get concorded in highsec when you enter, but you get criminal by shooting a ship, not podding someone so

Welp. I'm curious how much effort they're going to put into fixing this poo poo. EVE mobile scratches an itch I didn't know I had, but I can't imagine how much time and money it would take to make it work properly when it's far easier to just fart out some garbage and put microtransactions everywhere. Edit: made it to jita and started looking through the market. Some weird decisions re: slots have been made. Tank appears to be all low slots regardless of shield or armor, same with mwds. Mids appear to be for ewar. Low level frigates have no mids and therefore can't tackle, which makes destroyers look more attractive overall. I can't find any warp scrams which is odd, but the disruptor description, if they are to be believed, stops warping, mwds and jumping. Weird. Also if that's to be believed, I'm not sure if or how MWD/disruptor kiting as per regular EVE would work (or if it's even possible). So weird. It's worth messing around with - despite being beta right now.

that's not even a third of the kills we got, poo poo picked up after I made that post and we got so many destroyers and frigates, and many pod kills too (which are arguably more rage inducing, as you can't set your home station yet and they have to travel 30+ jumps back)

Highlights: 21 million isk Venture II (Ships have 0 value on killmail, so he had 21 million isk in cargo)  We got 37 scalps (I counted the corpses on the D7-ZAC undock) People got so loving mad that they switched into english to call us mean words.

Hiya, I quitted Eve something like five years ago. Is there any reason why I should play again? Background: when I was playing I was a member of TNT, and the coalition was still living in Deklein. IIRC the infamous casino war happened a few months after that.
