These are the games I've finished/played a decent amount of this year: Heaven Will Be Mine RE2 Apex Legends KH 3 Beat Saber DMC 5 Sekiro MK11 Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass Cadence of Hyrule Bloodstained Dragon Quest V Shadowbringers Mario Maker 2 AOW Planetfall Dusk Fire Emblem 3 Houses Dicey Dungeons Control Amid Evil Link's Awakening Shadow Tactics Steamworld Dig 2 Slay the Spire Dicey Dungeons Untitled Goose Game Code Vein DQ Builders 2 AI Somnium Files Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Ring Fit Disco Elysium AOE 2 DE Pokemon Shield Death Stranding And I gave up on these: Wargroove Spiderman RDR2 The Outer Worlds Depending how long Rarity's thread goes I would like to finish Pathologic 2 and maybe one or two other smaller things but I think I more or less have a top ten in mind. I might post about some of the other games that won't make my list in here, for y'all's reading pleasure.

If we're doing a sorta kinda rolling end of the year best games review in this thread everyone don't forget about Sayonara Wild Hearts which was short, cheap, and totally worth checking out if you're into the idea of a game that isn't really a rhythm game but more focuses on trying to merge what's happening onscreen (arcade-ey gameplay) with a poppy soundtrack I think it works really well

I've been stuck at the two phase Genichiro Ashina battle in Sekiro for 2 hours and this would be a better game if it had Metal Gear Rising Revengeance's soundtrack play during boss fights.

I agree that even though I’ve strongly enjoyed some games this year, like Control, Astral Chain, Judgment, Star Wars, and it’s looking like Death Stranding, none of them light the GOTY fire under my butt like Hollow Knight and Tetris Effect did. So 2019’s GOTY is What the Golf I guess.
