I read most of that article regarding anti-Semitism and I don't have much to add, except to emphasize just to what extent she goes out of her way to delegitimize any and all of those who are Jewish and disagree with her position. It's... well, were I Jewish myself I would be somewhat peeved. e; In 138 hours we will be about a day and a half into Corbyn's first government

Arguably better than Corbyn, as much as I love him. Rayner in particular is clearly spoiling for a fight. Rayner is great but I'm already cringing at the hilarious 'left school pregnant at 16 with no qualifications' wisecracks. Yeah, they make them already, but imagine that all day every day

I don't want to harbor any unfortunate anti-semitic views." Then the article goes on to state that, actually, Israel has a right to exist, and he's perfectly willing to work towards a two-state solution (which is impossible and therefore a massive red flag). Also, is there actually a branch of zionism that isn't a colonial project?

Given the criticism you're doling out at some of the responses you've gotten, you might wanna consider how your posts come across because I absolutely would assume you were doing it in bad faith at this point. If you're coming in saying you want to be educated, you actually need to read what people are telling you rather than moan about a couple of people who glibly told you to stop reading manipulative trash. Also also if he's out there going "The other guy could win!" it really backs up the stuff we've seen yesterday or the day before about how they've shifted to full defense mode. I went to the electoral office in Belfast to see why I hadn't heard anything since changing my constituency to North Belfast, which is apparently coming down to the wire between Sinn Fein and the DUP. Apparently they had been in touch and the email went to my spam folder. So I'm going to have to sit out the most important election in my life time, in which for the first time my vote would have actually mattered, because Google somehow decided an email from a government department looked like an offer for a discount pizza. I've had a headache for two days. I'm so tired.

The video of Johnson from today is up to 7.3 million views on twitter. That's insane, has anything else in the campaign even come close? Edit: For those who missed it Labour's PPB on the beeb today was all about the NHS, with large excerpts of the Rob Delaney video. Incredible timing right after the six o'clock news presented Johnson as an uncaring monster.

jabby posted:The video of Johnson from today is up to 7.3 million views on twitter. Labour is reported to have the most interactions, with The Times describing Labour's "aggressive, anti-establishment messages" as "beating clever Tory memes". In the first week of November, Labour is reported to have four of the five most "liked" tweets by political parties, many of the top interactions of Facebook posts, as well as being "dominant" on Instagram, where younger voters are particularly active.[97] Bloomberg reported that between 6–21 November the views on Twitter/Facebook were 18.7m/31.0m for Labour, 10m/15.5m for the Conservatives, 2.9m/2.0m for the Brexit Party, and 0.4m/1.4m for the Liberal Democrats.[98] Yeah so it getting that many hits in a day will make it possibly the most viewed thing this election.

Has anyone got any better strategies for dealing with patronising Tory family members telling me that I don't remember the 70s and the 3 day week and that I should never vote Labour as a consequence? I'm concious that my breathless babbling about media ownership and bias, propaganda and plots to undermine public ownership can come off as a bit tin foil hat (even though it's all true) so need to simplify it a bit. Ultimately I don't think they'll ever come around till the services they take for granted are gone and it affects them
