That's what I was wondering, he was apparently sober enough to do that but not to hang the bag off the curtain rail? Did he go out on the tiles with the cannula pre-loaded and the little cap on it?

The mirror definitely has the right idea with this story though, if the Tories want to claim the picture is a fake just publish a different one. Let them play catch up, it's not like these are isolated incidents.

As soon as the equivalent of Theresa May or the tories come to power they will instantly try to gently caress you over in every way they possibly can. One of the defining features of current conservatives is their burning, irrational hatred of anyone and everyone who wasn't born in the country, it's super obvious in the UK, in the USA and many other countries. It's pretty interesting how the EU is the only thing that makes it actually feasible, and even fairly easy, to move to a different country (as long as it's also inside the EU). I don't think anything else really compares. In the UK I've heard so many stories of people from USA or Nepal or Iran or wherever having to pay stupid money for their visa (e.g. £5k a year every year), getting deported as soon as they get divorced (after 15 years here), a permanent residence application might cost several thousand and many people don't have that kind of money, it goes on and on. And if you don't have the best possible papers you just get loving Windrushed.

The exit poll normally gets a handful of constituencies wrong but for the general parliament result (whether there's a hung parliament, or a majority and who the majority is for) has been close enough to true to call the general result since the last cock up in 1992. However if it was the be all and end all then we wouldn't need a vote! Iirc the 2015 exit poll said hung parliament but Davey got a small majority. It all comes down to the hyper-marginal swing seats which will be the difference between a Tory minority or Labour minority government. Jaeluni Asjil posted:Exit poll normally comes out within a few minutes of the end BUT it could be wrong. Yeah Newcastle & Sunderland both compete to be first to declare and it's usually before midnight. Both are strong Labour seats though so it doesn't say much unless things go badly wrong

Which is a pretty common way of providing a small amount of O2 to kids or anyone else who won't tolerate wearing a tight-fitting oxygen mask constantly. Instead of making them wear a low-flow mask, you put a high-flow mask a few inches away so they get some of the benefit. You don't get a well-controlled percentage of oxygen that way, but you get some extra and the kid isn't constantly trying to rip the mask off. So a kernel of truth, but either not looking at the picture properly or just lying.

Just lol at how poo poo the media is in this country where “government aide walks into hand of random passerby pointing towards nearest bus stop” becomes “labour anarchist bussed in via taxis on taxpayer money brutally assaults conservative advisor to health secretary and smashes his face during riot outside hospital” without literally any repercussions or apologies. At least North Korea and Russia’s state propaganda is honest about its sources.

What a loving turn in the election. NHS failures, boris doesn't care, boris hides away, boris turns on the bbc, matt hancock gets a stiffy staring at a woman, literally every pundit got caught lying, russian botnet engages, a telegraph columnist open talks about their smear before even doing so. Not even a whiff of antisemitism. And there's another photo of a sick kid without a bed tomorrow.
