Why are the doors on those first two cars unlocked while they're driving? Don't all cars matter in like the last 20 years automatically lock the doors I've the car hits 10 mph or so?

I had to get a 2018 Nissan Rogue programmed at the dealer to lock all doors when I put it in drive and unlock when in park. Which, you know, Nissan is as Nissan does. But it's obviously still a thing and a dumb one at that.
