Having movable eyes might not be a life defining quirk, but it would be generally useful in everyday life. You could tuck it behind your ear and be able to see behind you while biking. How many times have you been working on something where a small piece fell down and rolled into a cramped space? Find it with stretchy eyes. Not sure if the hair on the back of your head is combed right? Stretchy eyes! Have a weird mole in an inconvenient place that you want to look at more closely? You better believe I would put a stretchy eye right up to it to see what is going on with it.

I guarantee I would bite my eye while trying to look at some crap stuck in my teeth.

I'm assuming his eyes are more durable and less sensitive than normal eyes if he can just grab them and tug

This episode was obviously great for Kirishima, but I was really pleasantly surprised to see Mina of all characters get some quietly very good material too. So many good kids in this show.

Huh, they don't acknowledge the fact that the time that Kirishima got his quirk was literally when he woke up in the middle of the night to pee and he hardened his hand rubbing his eye.

Maybe we should remove "anime" from the title of the manga thread.

One of them has "anime" in the banner, and one of them has "manga." I think that's as good as we're gonna get, the human brain is a wonky PoS sometimes.

On topic: This was not an episode where the main plot was even a little surprising (except for the specifics of Fat Gum's quirk), but it had a lot of really good character moments. Kirishima is best boy.

Actually that wouldn't have helped here, since it was about an entirely different anime.

Horikoshi himself said he misses explaining it in the manga, but Rappa's quirk is that his shoulder/arm joints are essentially frictionless so he can throw impossibly hard/fast punch barrages without using much energy or stress on his body.

This is a good chunk of the mha vigilantes comic. Obviously there is some fights n such, it is shonen, but a lot of the early stuff tackles how day to day people live in this world.

I'm not so much worried about people being confused as I am about spoilers.

The first movie handheld new audience members really well. This one is going to be tasked with introducing current viewers to a version of the story two anime seasons ahead of where they currently are without ruining anything in between.

Yeah that image has a character from the manga who won't be introduced in the anime for a while yet, but the movie won't necessarily contain significant manga spoilers.
