My brother definitely got this shirt from a thrift shop and it then became his favorite shirt until some point where it just became lint.

i looked online to find it

whats hilarious is that its actually a 2D render of Cloud and not 3D as advertised so I'm lead to believe they couldn't afford the ink or had limitations as to render all those colors onto a t-shirt as there are obviously more colors and values to take into consideration from a 3D model back in the late 90s

Pretty good

I used to go in Funcoland and get stacks of NES carts and all kind of controllers (including a NES Advantage arcade stick) and stuff that would cost a frigging fortune these days.

They had a rad logo too.

Pizza Hut stopped being good right about the time they switched from making their own dough to getting frozen dough that just needed thawed and risen. Also, the $10 large any way you want it promotion they ran during the height of the Great Recession took them out of the "expensive but worth it" category and firmly pitted them against Domino's and Little Caesar's, with a subsequent reduction in quality to match.

My friends and I were having PPV parties at that time. The Owen Hart one was at my house and boy that really took the wind out of the excitement we had earlier to see the match at the top billing. I think it was Stone Cold and the Undertaker, but no one was really paying attention anymore by that point.

Yeah, that right there is a prime example of a business not understanding how they make their money. For quite a while Pizza Hut pan pizzas were seriously one of my favorite foods in existence. They haven't been good in years. Last one I ordered was easily a year ago. They're trying to act like they're still the better of the pizza delivery chains even though all they are now is more expensive. Everything that made them what everybody liked just got chipped away.

Huh. I wondered about that. I actually liked Pizza Hut as a kid but I assumed it was because kids are dumb and like lovely pizza.

I adored Pizza Hut pan pizzas well into adulthood but the quality seriously tanked. It was a slow decline for a while but in the last couple of years it was just a horrid nosedive. Pizza Hut genuinely could make a quality pizza and their sit down dining was stellar in the past. These days...less so. Granted other delivery pizza has also been having its quality poo poo out.

About the only consistent one has been Little Caesar's which has been "it isn't great but it's good enough and dirt rear end cheap" as long as I can remember.

Little Caesar's currently excels because of that, $5 Hot 'N Ready is pretty genius. Everyone knows you're not looking for quality when it comes to an LC pizza, but sometimes you just want a hot pizza, without having to order and wait for it.

The first time I made a pizza in my cast iron pan, I realized why it was called a personal pan pizza. It's made in a pan, and it's personal sized. It's what I remember pizza hut being like, and I don't have to spoil any memories by going there and being disappointed.

Hey, the internet wasn't nearly as available in the 90s, we had to take what we could get.

My ex ate a ton of Domino’s because she got coupons multiple times a week for it, so it was an extremely cheap way of feeding herself. Her idea of pizza was so shot that I took her to NYC once and a random dollar slice joint in Hell’s Kitchen completely hosed her perspective up.

This opinion was the reason I quit. I wanted to be the good pizza place you took your family to, that wasn't the cheapest but was worth the price, like Pizza Hut was when I was growing up. I did not want to play the cheap pizza game, see my staff cut but their workload quadruple because cheap pizza hosed a hole in my labor percentage, watch product quality decline because everything came pre-packaged or frozen, and have the jukebox and arcade machines vanish because we couldn't afford to rent them anymore. To see a company that once prided itself on quality at any cost throw that away to compete with Domino's on loving volume.

I still like Pizza Hut but I remember them being better when I was a kid. We used to have one of the classic dine-in restaurants but they got rid of it and moved into a strip mall. Maybe it was for the best though, the last 5-10 years the place was a ghost town other than people picking up pizzas for home.
