Alternatively, Epstein may not have been groomed for this position. What happened to Epstein’s money? He just arranged to have it all put away forever in a trust that never pays anything out to anyone during his last 48 hours spent alive? Was that just a huge gently caress-you to the victims? Can a settlement get at any of the money now that he’s dead? The money is probably guilty of crimes using the same logic as those laws that allow cops to seize people’s cars and houses forever.

Whatever protection he previously enjoyed was either less effective or had been withdrawn. Guess what happened next?
